As we all know, the next instalment of the YOKKAO 23 & 24 shows is looming and drawing ever closer and closer. Now, as always, the main cards are stacked full of talent with fights that promoter, Brian Calder, very accurately says, could headline any other event. However, sometimes it flies under the radar that the undercard of the show is also stacked with the up and coming talent of the UK that, again, could headline many local shows. This one is no different, there are many of the undercard fighters who are YOKKAO Next generation fighters.
Spencer Brown has been going from strength to strength recently, spending a lot of time out in Thailand at the YOKKAO Training Centre in Bangkok. Isaac Taylor has already been active this year fighting on the Tankō Muay Thai League show in Manchester earlier this month, getting stopped after his nine-fight win streak will surely give him the motivation to bounce back and begin racking up those wins again!
Both Tamara Fallon and Hannah Brady are Yorkshire based fighters who are both based in the west wide. Tamara trains and fights out of Bad Company and Hannah Brady trains and fights out of Kiatphontip, both ladies are very well schooled and again, could headline that of any other local show. The list goes on and on with talent featured on the ‘undercard’ of the YOKKAO 23 & 24 shows.
I think the term ‘undercard’ is maybe the incorrect term for the fighters that will be featuring on it. Maybe something a bit more suitable like ‘would be main card on any other show’ or ‘top upcoming talent go head to head card’ because the term ‘undercard’ doesn’t do this selection of these fighter’s justice. There are a number of fighters who are still members of the YOKKAO Next Generation fight team but who are now featuring on the main card of the show!
If you would like to catch these fighters as well as the biggest names in the sport to date clashing, with two titles on the line, the UK No.1 spot among an array of world-class bouts with fighters who top the UK and international rankings. Don’t miss out. If you haven’t already got your tickets, I wouldn’t be messing around because YOKKAO shows always sell out! You can get your tickets by contacting your local fighter or by visiting http://www.yokkao.com/yokkao-23-24-tickets/
