Science of 8 Promotions – Next Generation preview

Science of 8 Promotions presents ‘The Next Generation’

With the ICO World Title and Intercontinental belts on the line this has to be one of the most anticipated and talked about events as we head into the second half of 2016 and what a way to kick it off with a brilliant show.

With Dan McGowan’s change of opponent that happened quite late on, he is now set to take on Kiatphontip’s Ja of Thailand, probably one of his biggest challenges to date. I haven’t seen Dan fight live before and I must say I am definitely looking forward to this one. It is for the ICO world title at 56.5kg.

Andy has managed to pull together an impressive card of both adult and junior Muay Thai action with some of the juniors travelling down to Birmingham from both ends of the country to clash in the Midlands. I caught up with Andy when I was last down in Birmingham a couple of months ago now, you can catch the interview that we did right here:

The event will be held at 100 Icknield Port Road in Birmingham B16 0AA and tickets will be available on the door. MTBUK will be here doing a few interviews and catching up with people as I have been out of the swing of things recently.

You can find the running order below and have a catch up as to who will be fighting tomorrow. The doors open at 2pm and the fights are set to begin at 3pm.

Again, I know I have said this before but Andy’s hospitality and understanding I can’t speak higher of. He has been so accommodating and welcoming to me and with MTBUK. He did a promo video that he posted on Facebook a few weeks back, you can see it here:

If you are stuck for anything to do tomorrow and you are within a 500-mile radius then you should definitely be taking any means of transport possible and getting your hind to this show. Come and say ‘Hi’ while you’re at it too!

What are you waiting for?
