Millennium Martial Arts – The Home Show preview

So, anybody who is anybody has been looking forward to this for some time now. I know I have. I was down at Millennium Martial Arts a few weeks ago doing some interviews for Victory Promotions at Jai Suu which and I bumped into Tony Cunningham who is the owner of Millennium Martial Arts. I had just covered The Tankō Main Event and mentioned to him that it would be cool if MTBUK could cover his home show.

I has been looking at the line up and it looks awesome, it is a K-1 rules show with a couple of Muay Thai fights happening. I was excited as soon as I heard that Reece McAllister was fighting because I have met Reece a couple of times and he is such an exciting fighter! Also Vinnie Shoreman and Gavin Sterritt are commentating on the show with Peep Magazine heading up the recording of the videos for the show.

Tony is going all out on this and I am honoured that he invited MTBUK along to report on the show. We will be doing post-fight interviews with some of the fighters in addition to a general review of the event. Tony is pulling out all the stops for the show.

It will be held at Blyth Sports Centre in Northumberland. If you don’t have anything planned this weekend then I would strongly recommend that you come to this show as it is going to be something special!

This is going to be a cracking event. I am very much looking forward to getting to meet some of the fighters there, Reece (again), catch up with Juan Cervantes and everyone else who will be there, either reporting on the event, commentating or just part of the team. It is always good to go to these things networking and meeting like-minded people who love kicking and punching people!

I have had a catch up with Tony and asked him a few questions about the preparation that has gone into the show. I will be posting these on the MTBUK Youtube channel in the next couple of days so head over and subscribe so you don’t miss out!

I’m Dom. I am a lover of all things Muay Thai related. I have ran MTBUK since 2015 when it was conceived and plan on making MTBUK the ‘go to’ place for all things related to the Science of 8 Limbs. I have been writing for a little while now and hope you enjoy the content I put out here for you! Drop me a line and say hi!
