Interview with Fabio Pinca

Interview with Fabio Pinca at the Tankō Main Event

This is something I am hugely excited to announce! Last night at The Tankō Main Event, Fabio took on Reece McAllister for the ISKA World title at 67kg. I was so nervous (as you can probably tell in the video) about this. This is the first time I have ever done anything like this, especially with the likes of Fabio and how much of a legend he is.

He has fought and won some of the biggest names and on the biggest stages in the sport and last night was no different. He was a nice guy to catch up with and I hope our paths will cross again one day and I will hopefully be a bit more relaxed and tone it down ever so slightly. It was definitely a learning curve but I loved every second of it and I hope I didn’t come across too keen.

Fabio is a fantastic fighter and incredibly humble, we had a catch up after the interview (I talked normally then), and he was just so down to Earth, he mentioned that he was going on holiday and looking forward to a rest.

I wish Fabio the best of luck with his fight later in the year against Liam Harrison. That is set to be an absolute war! One that I am sure the UK Muay Thai scene will definitely looking forward to watching. As soon as this fight goes live from Tankō I will bring it straight over here and get it posted so you can see it. Until then, I wish Fabio a happy holiday, I would also like to thank Tankō and everyone at the Main Event for giving me the opportunity to be able to be there and interview.
