[FIGHT] Reece McAllister returns to make a statement!!

Reece McAllister returns and make a statement at Victory Promotions

Reece McAllister of Phoenix Thai Boxing in Shildon, County Durham recently announced his return to the ring after a 10-month sabbatical while he moved to live and teach at Blood Fitness in Jersey with Michael Blood. The Muay Thai community mourned when McAllister announced his retirement but little did we know that less than a year later – he would announce his return to the ring!

Victory Promotions were lucky enough to secure McAllister for his return and pit him against a young Scot who was looking to take a well-known scalp. Whatever the outcome, it was a win-win for McAllister’s opponent, Alex MacGregor, who has previously fought on the Victory Promotions event and who has recently been living, training and fighting out in Thailand at Sutai Muay Thai.

The event that these two clashed on was a huge success, with a solid build-up to the event the promotion really shows a bright future as they continue to grow. Being their third show, this time around they teamed up with a local Muay Thai trust known as the Lee Smith Trust which helps local gyms and fighters to achieve their dreams of either setting up or flying out to Thailand to train/fight in the motherland.

Headlining the event, McAllister’s following was apparent at the venue. When he made his entrance the audience erupted, making it known that they were there to support the local lad in his return bout. MacGregor had a really tough fight ahead of him but he really did do very well, clinching McAllister early on to prevent him landing his vicious attacks but to no avail.

McAllister opened MacGregor up with some nasty elbows and eventually stopping him in the third round. McAllister is now looking forward to a tough challenge at the upcoming Yokkao event in March where he will face off against Singdam YokkaoSaenchaiGym but for now, enjoy this brilliant watch of the video from Victory Promotions from the 2nd December…

Ensure you subscribe as there are plenty more videos to be released of the fights that happened at the event and Muay Thai Bog is very sure that you will enjoy the quality of the media that they released over the past few months.
