DUEL 6: Strikeforce – I can taste it!
Here I am at DUEL’s DUEL 6: Strikeforce. All the fighters are now beginning to arrive and get their medicals done. Bloody pressure taken, making sure they are in good health ready for the upcoming fight!
In total there are 15 fights, made up of boxing, K1 and making its debut with DUEL Fight Sports is DUEL Muay Thai Elements. The ring has now been set up and music beginning to play, the doers due to open to the public very soon!
I came in a little early to get set up and meet David Weill the promoter of DUEL. He is an interesting guy, he has been running events since 2010 and he says this is probably going to be the best one yet!

There are plenty of belts up for grabs tonight, I am sure there will be blood spilt for them too! There are Three Muay Thai fights happening tonight. Darius Palma of Northern Sprit vs Ross Laidlaw of Millennium Martial Arts at 57kg. Next up is Kristian Atkinson of Wolf Muay Thai vs Matthew Nesbit of Soul of Sukothai both fighting at 60kg. Finally it is the Lightweight DUEL Muay Thai national title up for grabs, the fight will be fought at 61kg by Kevin Carr of Jai Suu Muay Thai and Cody Ditcheva of Northern Spirit!
Even with the Muay Thai alone, it is set to be a cracking event. Nevermind the stacked K1 card featuring Fred ‘The Joker’ Cordeiro fighting Gary Laws and many many more!
Keep your eyes peeled as I will be updating you on the progress on my Facebook and a full write-up tomorrow of the event when I have had chance to have a look through and edit the photos!
