Bad Company in Leeds in renown for world-class training. Having produced multiple world champions, it is no secret that when you train at Bad Co. you can expect a good time. Most recently, there have been a few faces visiting the Leeds based gym to hone their skills and throw down with some of the best in the world.
Ricky Sewell recently announced that he will be fighting again when he posted on social with a video of him hitting some pads with Panicos Yusuf. He announced that his return will happen on June 29th in Manchester on the Muay Thai Grand Prix event. Coming back to no easy fight, he will be taking on Jack Cooper of Chok Dee gym in York.

Simon Forrest and Dan McGowan were also down this particular weekend too! Forrest is training for his fight on the Blackpool Rebellion event. Forrest has been on a good run at the moment and will be looking to continue this when he fights Akram Hamidi on 8th June. Forrest and McGowan spent a lot of time together in the past few years working and training together. Regularly posting their training sessions on social.
McGowan recently an operation on his hand and began the healing process to get back to 100% and back in the ring. McGowan was on fire before his hand started playing up again, he was out in Thailand training and fighting out of Petchyindee. He shared a video of him doing some pads with Andy Howson saying how good it was to be back training and looking forward to getting back to full health.
The full squad was out on Friday with Grace Spicer and Bilal Remassy also making their way to West Yorkshire under invitation from Bad Co. The picture that the gang shared on social was a star-studded collection of elite-level UK fighters.
Liam Harrison, James France and Andy Howson were all there to put the guys through their paces with lots of rounds of sparring, sweeping, pad whacking and lots of laughs. The social media posts have been really entertaining to watch and follow along with. Harrison flies out to China to fight on ONE Championship but is currently out in Thailand training at his second home in Jitti Gym.
Howson recently announced the return of his event, Science of 8 Promotions… Now showcasing at Doncaster Dome on 24th August, we are eagerly awaiting the announcement of some of the fights to be feasted upon! All in all, it looks like a good weekend was had with the guys!
